3rd Annual Induction of Officers Dinner Dance

Dear SEVA Fil-Am Lions, Friends and Supporters,

There are over 48,000 Lions Clubs and over 1.4 million Lions in over 200 countries worldwide who are stepping up to serve their communities even during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Although these new challenges have changed the way we live, our dedication to helping those in need is as strong as it was when we first opened our doors more than 100 years ago. Now in our third year, the SEVA Fil-Am Lions Club have served our local communities and international communities with on-going service projects relating to: Volunteering at Eyeglasses Recycling Center and Eyeglasses Collection and Distribution, Diabetes Screening and Education, Meal Service to Seniors and Childhood Cancer Fundraiser. We also maintain donations to Seton Youth Centers, Manchville Shelter and Genevie Shelter. We are the proud co-sponsors of the Legacy Garden at the MacArthur Memorial Center.

In several communities in the Philippines, we continue to support Eyeglasses Distribution and Vision Screening. In addition, we are in partnership with Montero Medical Missions and Gawad Kalinga USA for sustainable healthcare and hunger projects respectively. As you might be aware, the successes mentioned above have only been possible due to the active cooperation by our members, donations and fundraisers supported by generous and charitable people and businesses like you/yours. We warmly invite you to our Third Induction Gala Dinner Dance on Saturday November 21, 2020 6:00pm at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 4453 Bonney Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23462. We will be working very closely with the staff at Crowne Plaza Hotel in following the current CDC and VDH guidelines and social distancing to ensure a safe, fun and memorable event. We certainly need that during these stressful times. Let’s continue to stay safe and healthy.
